Day 14 Saturday, December 10, 2016

All is well. Very warm here. Steadily making our way with your help.

Thanks so much for the comments and questions. You have no idea how wonderful it is for me to get those emails first thing in the morning. Sets the tone for my whole day.

The ham chatter is good these days and Barry (in Western Australia) has just installed a new antenna for 20 meters so I am picking him up a lot better.

I have a bit of sunshine here now which always brightens the soul.

After I sent my 5:30 am report, I hit my bunk again and finally got up at “9:30”. (OK This is unheard of!)  It was absolute heaven. Somehow my brain switched to relax mode and I drifted in and out of sleep. Whatever that was, I wish I had more control over it. It was sooooooo great.

So slow going here this morning, WW II has even slowed down some. I have a flat white here beside me and I just hard boiled a couple of eggs.

InReach tracker down below charging.

  2. Good to see that you are getting closer to Rarotonga. Hope you are having a great time. Solo sailing will be out once you are back. You have a long list of people who would like to join you on excursions on WWII.
